Bodo Uebber, who has served as Daimler AG’s chief financial officer for 14 years, won’t seek to extend his contract beyond 2019, according to the company.
Daimler did not say why or exactly when Uebber, 59, is leaving. His departure would be the first top-level executive to exit as Ola Kallenius succeeds CEO Dieter Zetsche in May.
Uebber has helped Zetsche develop a new structure for Daimler’s operating units that is designed to give them more independence. The company’s shareholders will vote on the plan at Daimler’s annual meeting in May.
