Cooper Standard Opens Japan Headquarters
Novi, Mich.-based Cooper Standard Holdings Inc. has opened a new Japan headquarters and engineering center in Yokohama.
Novi, Mich.-based Cooper Standard Holdings Inc. has opened a new Japan headquarters and engineering center in Yokohama.
The 5,400-sq-ft facility replaces a previous site in Osaki. The new headquarters and technical center will offer broader capabilities, including on-site product development and engineering support to localize products for Japanese carmakers.
The facility is equipped with computer-aided-design and -engineering equipment, 3D printing and material testing equipment. Cooper Standard will use the facility to support its core sealing, fuel and brake delivery, fluid transfer and anti-vibration systems.
Cooper Standard and its joint venture partners operate 35 facilities in Asia Pacific, including 15 sites in China, 11 in India, six in Korea, two in Japan and one in Thailand.
