Chrysler Group LLC says it will replace faulty third-row power window vent switches that could overheat and cause a fire in Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans.
The global campaign involves 780,500 of the company's 2010-2014 models, almost all of which were sold in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Chrysler hasn't indicated when the recall will begin. In the meantime, concerned owners can have their dealers disconnect the switch, which is located in the driver's door panel.
