General Motors Co.'s Chevrolet unit has dropped Leo Burnett Detroit as the ad agency for its Silverado fullsize pickup trucks and moved the work to Commonwealth//McCann, which already handles global advertising for Chevy.
General Motors Co.'s Chevrolet unit has dropped Leo Burnett Detroit as the ad agency for its Silverado fullsize pickup trucks and moved the work to Commonwealth//McCann, which already handles global advertising for Chevy.
Leo Burnett will retain its work for GM's Buick and GMC brands. The agency gained the Silverado account in 2013 shortly after Commonwealth was created and was rapidly expanding to support Chevrolet.
Chevy says moving the Silverado business to Commonwealth//McCann will streamline the business and ensure consistency.
