GM says the campaign, the marque's first worldwide effort, will better connect with the overseas consumers Chevy is wooing. The brand's iconic slogans of past decades had a distinctly patriotic fervor: "The Heartbeat of America," "Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet" and "See the U.S.A. in Your Chevrolet."
The new slogan was created by the Commonwealth agency, a joint venture between Omnicom Group and Interpublic Group. The first ads will appear in the U.S. next month and roll out later in 140 other countries.
