General Motors Co.'s Chevrolet brand has hired Craig Daitch to become its senior manager of digital marketing strategy, Automotive News reports.
Daitch held a similar position at Ford Motor Co. before leaving the company last year to join SapientNitro, a global agency that helps clients boost their brands through multimedia campaigns. He had been managing the group's Detroit office and Chrysler Fiat Automobiles account before starting work at GM on Monday.
AN says Daitch's mission at Chevy will be to create social media content to support the brand's product launches, racing activities and other communication efforts.
