Carlisle to Head GM Canada

General Motors Co. has named Stephen Carlisle as president and managing director of GM of Canada Ltd.

He will succeed Kevin Williams, who is retiring at the end of December after a 21-year career with the company.

Carlisle currently is based in the U.S. as vice president of global product planning and program management. His earlier assignments included overseeing U.S. dealer networks and heading GM's southeast Asia operations.
