Trade group CCFA says growth last month was led by PSA Group, whose sales jumped 11% to 60,600 units. Renault Group sales were flat at 40,400 cars.
As a group, foreign producers saw sales in France fall 3% to 71,400 vehicles in February. The sector’s largest seller, Volkswagen Group, hiked sales 3% to 20,400 units).
But CCFA says volume fell for Toyota (-2% to 8,200 units), Ford (-8% to 6,700) and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (-16% to 6,500).
