Sales rose 13% to 44,100 units for PSA Peugeot Citroen and 8% to 33,500 vehicles for Renault Group. But their share of the French market dipped 0.1 point to 51.8% because of stronger gains by foreign brands.
Sales by Volkswagen Group rose 5% to 20,700 units in November. Others posting big increases included BMW Group (+13% to 6,700 units), Ford (+16% to 6,200 units), Nissan (+13% to 6,000), Fiat Group (+17% to 5,900), Mercedes-Benz/Smart (+26% to 5,400) and General Motors (+12% to 5,200).
