Registrations of new passenger vehicles in Spain will grow 23% to 1.05 million this year, predicts industry group ANFAC.
Car sales in the county peaked at 1.63 million units in 2006. But they dropped to 982,000 in 2010 and haven't be above 1 million units since then.
Volume in 2014 climbed 18% to 855,300 vehicles, according to the ACEA trade group. Deliveries in Spain in the first half of 2015 rose 22% to 555,200 units.
ANFAC says this year's market will be aided by a drop in unemployment and a 3% gain in Spain's gross domestic product.
