Today, the Additive Manufacturing Conference + Expo announced that the call for presentations for the 2021 conference is open. The event will take place October 12-14 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

"It is always with a lot of anticipation that we put out the annual call for speakers," says Peter Zelinski, Editor-in-Chief of Additive Manufacturing Media. "We hear from manufacturing innovators and learn about applications, developments and successes in AM we otherwise weren't aware of: people excited to share news of their work."

The call for speakers has become more focused as both additive manufacturing and the nature of the conference have advanced. Conference organizers are focused on end users able to describe successful applications of AM - that is, companies succeeding in a significant way at making production parts or tooling additively, or researchers unaffiliated with a technology supplier who are making important strides in learning what AM can do and how to advance its capabilities.

Additive Manufacturing Conference attendees represent companies of all shapes, sizes and specialties, ranging from multinational OEMs to independent contract machine shops, and covering a wide range of end markets and job titles. Their one common interest is in evolving their application of industrial additive manufacturing technologies.

Speakers receive a complimentary pass to the conference, access to the exhibit hall, download of the proceedings after the event and an invitation to all networking activities, including the grand reception.

The deadline for papers is April 30, 2021. Abstracts can be submitted online.

About the Additive Manufacturing Conference + Expo: As the first and only event focused exclusively on additive technologies for industrial part production, the conferences take a practical, applications-based look at the machines, materials and methodologies being used to 3D print end-use tools and components. Events are designed for owners, executives and engineers at contract manufacturers, as well as OEMs involved in durable goods manufacturing.

About Additive Manufacturing: Additive Manufacturing Media is devoted to industrial applications of 3D printing technology. The focus is on the ways manufacturers are using this technology to make tooling, molds, functional prototypes and end-use production parts in a range of industry sectors
