General Motors Co.’s Cadillac unit has filed U.S. patent application for a coupe with styling cues borrowed from the brand’s 2016 Escala concept car (pictured).

The drawings show a low-slung design with narrow headlights, a contoured hood, sculpted trunk lid and arrow-shaped taillights. The car’s proportions are similar to those of the latest Chevrolet Camaro.

The futuristic Caddy coupe eschews traditional exterior rearview side mirrors in favor of rear-facing cameras—a design that isn’t yet legal in the U.S. This has prompted media reports to speculate that the patent, which was filed last year, is for another concept vehicle rather than a production model.
