General Motors Co.’s Buick unit is adding two electrified models to its lineup in China.

The vehicles—the Velite 6 plug-in hybrid and Velite 6 electric vehicle—are based on the hybrid Velite concept vehicle that Buick unveiled at the 2016 Guangzhou auto show. That vehicle was designed and developed by GM’s Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center joint venture with SAIC.

GM says the new Velite 6 models will leverage the company’s latest electrification and connectivity technologies but didn’t provide any details.

Buick introduced the Chevrolet Volt-based Velite 5 range-extended EV in China in April 2017. The brand also markets the Regal Hybrid and LaCrosse Hybrid in China.
