Brose North America Names Brosseau President

Germany's Brose Group has named Mike Brosseau, a 16-year veteran of the company, as president of Auburn Hills, Mich.-based Brose North America

Brosseau succeeds Jan Kowal, who is retiring as the unit's chairman. Under Kowal's leadership, the company's sales in North America climbed from $90 million in 1999 to $1.5 billion last year.

Brosseau joined the company in 1999 and most recently was global head of Brose's Ford account.

Coburg, Germany-based Brose is a tier one supplier of seat structures, window regulators and door modules. The company employs about 23,000 people in 23 countries.
