Brose Names New N. American President
John Dunn took over as president of Brose North America on Aug. 1.
John Dunn took over as president of Brose North America on Aug. 1. He had been COO with responsibility for regional production for the maker of electric drives and mechatronic systems since 2007.
Dunn succeeds Jan Kowal, who has been promoted to chairman of the North American unit. Dunn holds engineering degrees from Purdue University and the University of Wisconsin.
Brose Group generates $5 billion in annual sales with 53 plants in 23 countries. The company says sales by its North American unit under Kowal's leadership zoomed from $90 million in 1999 to more than $1 billion last year.
