Bosch Names New Mobility, Digital Chiefs

Robert Bosch GmbH has appointed Stefan Hartung to take over as chairman of its mobility operations on Jan. 1.
Hartung will succeed Rolf Bulander, who is retiring at the end of 2018 after 30 years with the company. Bosch credits Bulander for creating its Powertrain Solutions division and helping to double the company’s mobility-related sales.
Bosch also named Michael Bolle, 57, to assume the newly created position of chief digital officer on July 1. He also will serve as company’s chief technology officer and oversee IT operations and Bosch Software Innovations. Bolle currently oversees research and advanced engineering.
