Mansuetti is currently based in Germany as senior vice president of Bosch's fuel injection business. He previously served as technical manager of the company's factory in Anderson, S.C.
Mansuetti will succeed Werner Struth, who will remain chairman of the North American business and a board member of the parent company. Struth's duties in the latter post include overseeing operations in North and South America, manufacturing coordination, product system development, investment planning and environmental protection. Struth also currently responsible for Bosch's packaging technology unit.
Bosch tells Automotive News that Mansuetti's promotion is intended to give the North American unit a chief dedicated solely to the region's operations. The company's other international units already have such leaders.
