BMW AG says its brands delivered a record 191,700 vehicles last month compared with 184,300 in October 2014.

BMW brand sales jumped 6% to 164,900 units for the month, but demand for Mini models fell 9% to 26,400 cars. The company reports gains in all major sales regions.

Group sales through the first 10 months of 2015 climbed 7% to 1.84 million units, with solid growth in Europe (+10% to 816,200 vehicles), Asia (+4% to 561,100) and the Americas (+6% to 402,300).

The company predicts “additional momentum” through the end of this year, which would lead to a fifth consecutive annual sales record. Last year group deliveries rose 8% to 2.12 million vehicles.

BMW’s brand sales surpassed those of Daimler AG’s rival Mercedes-Benz brand by about 10,000 units in October. For January-October, BMW outsold Mercedes by 1.56 million to 1.53 million, according to company data.
