BMW Group Sales Rise 6% in July

BMW Group reports that worldwide deliveries of its BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce brand vehicles rose to a record 173,200 units in July from 164,000 in the same month last year.

BMW Group reports that worldwide deliveries of its BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce brand vehicles rose to a record 173,200 units in July from 164,000 in the same month last year.

July deliveries of BMW brand cars and crossovers climbed 6% to 147,500 units. Mini sales grew 5% to 25,400.

Group volume for the month surged 11% to 75,600 units in Europe. But deliveries fell 6% to 34,600 units in China and were flat at 32,200 in the U.S.

BMW brand sales in July climbed 12% to 62,300 units in Europe, dropped 7% to 32,200 in China and gained 2% to 27,000 in the U.S.

The group's volume for January-July increased 8% to 1.27 million units. Deliveries in Europe advanced 10% to 563,700 units, led by a 15% jump to 124,900 in the U.K. Sales in China and the U.S. and Canada expanded 1% to 265,200 and 8% to 231,000, respectively, for the seven-month period.
