BMW Appoints New Purchasing Chief
BMW AG has named Markus Duesmann to head its purchasing and supplier network, effective Oct. 1.
BMW AG has named Markus Duesmann to head its purchasing and supplier network, effective Oct. 1. He will succeed Klaus Draeger, who is retiring.
Duesmann, 47, is a mechanical engineer who joined the company in 2007 as head of powertrain for the former BMW Sauber Formula One racing team. Most recently he oversaw powertrains for the company’s development division.
