Volvo Car Corp.'s new design director for interiors is Robin Page, who had headed interior design at Bentley Motors Ltd. since 2001.

Page was responsible for the plush interiors of such ultra-luxury models as the Mulsanne sedan and several variants of the Continental coupe, as well as Queen Elizabeth II's state limousine.

Volvo owner Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. has said it wants to move the Swedish unit's vehicles upscale.
