Germany’s Benteler International AG and Freudenberg SE’s Vibracoustic unit are partnering to develop products and services to support electric-car programs.

The nonequity alliance combines Benteler’s know-how in controling chassis noise and vibration with Vibracoustic’s expertise in noise, vibration and harshness management.

Benteler says the partnership will speed product development by allowing its customers to adopt front and rear axle systems already tuned for low NVH by Vibracoustic.
