Base Price for Mercedes Pullman Limo: €500,000

The starting price for Daimler AG's new Mercedes-Maybach Pullman S-Class car will be €500,000.

Daimler will publicly unveil the 6.5-meter-long car next month at the Geneva auto show. Deliveries are to begin in early 2016.

The Pullman joins the Maybach S version of the Mercedes S-Class but is 105 cm longer and 10 cm taller. The name revives a 6-meter-long armor-plated Mercedes-Benz limousine last built in the 1960s.

The interior of the new model is configured with a front-row for the driver and a "club lounge" rear passenger compartment with two forward-facing and two backward-facing executive seats, plus two fold-out occasional seats.

Interior features include a Burmester sound system, a retractable 18.5-inch display screen and a glass partition between the driver's and passenger compartments that turns opaque at the touch of a button.

The Pullman will be powered by a 6-liter V-12 bi-turbo engine that makes 530 hp.
