Audi’s Top Engine Chief Quits

Stefan Knirsch, a former Porsche AG executive who led Audi AG's powertrain development team for nearly two years, has suddenly left the company.

Knirsch's departure was first reported by Auto Motor und Sport and later confirmed by Audi. Before joining the company in late 2013, he was in charge of quality management and engine development at Porsche.
