Volkswagen AG's Audi unit has appointed Christian Schroth to become CFO of its American unit on Sept. 1.
Schroth is currently executive director of finance and administration for Audi's South Korea unit. He will succeed Oliver Stein, who will become CFO at Audi's quattro high performance unit.
Audi says the changes follow its standard three-year rotation of executives and is unrelated to the abrupt departure last week of Johan de Nysschen, president of the U.S. unit. De Nysschen resigned to become the global chief of Nissan Motor Co.'s Infiniti brand.
