Volkswagen AG's Audi unit sold a record 415,700 cars in China during the first nine months of 2013 compared with 358,400 in the same period last year. September sales climbed 13% to 51,600 units.
Audi notes that its A3 sedan and Q3 and Q5 crossovers, which are produced locally, all lead their respective market segments.
