Audi Sales Fall Behind BMW, Mercedes

Volkswagen AG’s Audi brand reports its worldwide sales grew 2% to 149,200 units in April compared with 164,900 and 155,200 for rival brands BMW and Mercedes-Benz, respectively.

Volkswagen AG’s Audi brand reports its worldwide sales grew 2% to 149,200 units in April compared with 164,900 and 155,200 for rival brands BMW and Mercedes-Benz, respectively.

Audi says volume growth in Europe (+3% to 67,400 units) and the U.S. (+17% to a record 17,700) offset a decline in China (-3% to 46,800).

For January-October, Audi’s sales of 1.50 million vehicles compare with 1.56 million for BMW and 1.53 million for Mercedes.
