Audi Sales Climb 11%

Audi AG says it sold a record 146,300 vehicles worldwide last month compared with 131,800 units in November 2013. Results were driven by strong demand in China and the U.S.

Audi's volume in January-November totaled a record 1.59 million units, up 10%. The total surpassed the company's full-year total of 1.58 million in 2013.

November sales jumped 19% to 52,500 units in China and 22% to 16,600 in America. European deliveries advanced 2% to 58,800. Audi notes that its January-November sales in China totaled 516,400 units, marking the first time the company has sold more than half a million vehicles there in one year.
