Audi AG CEO Rupert Stadler tells Reuters the company could achieve its annual sales goal of 2 million vehicles by 2019, a year ahead of plan.
He notes that Volkswagen Group brand has achieved double-digit growth in four of the past five years. Deliveries climbed 11% to a record 1.74 million in 2014.
Stadler anticipates steady sales this year in Europe and continued strong growth in China and the U.S. He expects volume his year will be driven by Audi's redesigned A4 sedan and updates of the Q7 large crossover and R8 sports car.
