Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd expects to double its sales to 7,000 units per year by introducing at least six new models within four years.
The rollout starts this summer with the new DB11 GT-style coupe, which was unveiled in February at the Geneva auto show.
It will be followed next year by a new Vantage track car inspired by the DB10 model created for the James Bond spy film Spectre. A replacement for its Vanquish flagship model is due in 2018. The two models will be built on modified versions of the DB11’s all-new aluminum architecture.
An all-electric version of the Rapide sedan also is due to bow in 2018. And by the end of the decade, Aston plans to launch the DBX crossover vehicle and the next-generation Lagonda sedan.
In addition to these vehicles, two limited-edition specialty cars will be offered every year. Last year’s models included the Vulcan hypercar and the high-output Vantage GT12. Convertible variants of the DB11, Vanquish and Vantage also will be added by the end of the decade.
