American Gasoline Prices Keep Dropping

The average price of gasoline across the U.S. has fallen to $3.54 per gallon, down 5 cents in the past week and 19 cents lower than a month ago, according to the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report.

Gasoline prices have dropped from more than $3.90 per gallon in April in the wake of declining crude oil prices, which peaked near $110 per barrel in late February. Crude oil futures fell 72 cents per barrel on Friday on the New York Mercantile Exchange to close at $84.10.
