Chris Stewart

Key Account Manager, Kennametal

Christopher Stewart graduated from Kettering University with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He began his engineering career in the automotive industry with Delphi, a tier-one supplier – serving in cross-functional roles across the organization. From this experience, he developed a strong understanding of the manufacturing process, from material entry to product exit. He later transitioned into the medical device market at Smith & Nephew as an upstream manufacturing engineer. Chris has spent the last seven years as a composite applications specialist in the aerospace market and began his career at Kennametal as the global composite lead. Known for his diverse background across industries, Chris is a resource for Kennametal’s customers as they navigate the product design and manufacturing process. Chris is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Collat School of Business, where he obtained his MBA with a concentration in finance.

Chris Merlin

Senior Global Product Manager, Kennametal

Chris Merlin currently leads the portfolio and business development of high-performance round tools for the medical component and small parts machining for Kennametal. Over the past 15 years, Chris has worked globally with many customers and teams to improve machining and process planning by utilizing innovative digital and tooling solutions.
