Matthew Schmitz is a national product specialist at Iscar USA, focusing on GRIP (grooving, parting, swiss specific and more) products. He began his manufacturing career in the early '90s with a machinist apprenticeship and hands-on experience in CNC, manual lathes, Swiss-type lathes and CAM software. Since joining Iscar in 1999, Matt has held roles in sales, product management and technical support, working closely with manufacturers across the U.S. to implement advanced cutting tool solutions. He holds an master's degree in marketing and a machinist journey-level certificate, combining technical expertise with strategic insight.

Jim Wyant

Iscar National Product Specialist - Milling

Jim Wyant is a national Product Specialist at Iscar USA, supporting the milling product portfolio through on-site process optimization and training. He began his career in 1997, operating and programming CNC mills, lathes and grinders while earning his engineering degree. Jim later advanced into tooling design and application engineering, specializing in ceramic cutting tool process improvements across global industries. Since joining Iscar in 2017, he has supported customers regionally and now serves nationwide in his current role.
