Media Sales Representative

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a driven, customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to grow Gardner’s presence across the Central to West Coast territory. This role combines consultative selling, relationship-building, and travel to key industry events and client sites. You will work directly with manufacturers, suppliers, and technology providers to match their needs with Gardner’s powerful media, marketing, and event solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Territory Growth – Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities within Composites, Plastics, and Die/Mold markets.
- Client Relationship Management – Build long-term partnerships with C-suite executives, marketing leaders, and technical decision-makers.
- Consultative Selling – Conduct impactful in-person and virtual presentations, showcasing Gardner’s media and event solutions.
- Pipeline & Reporting – Manage accounts and opportunities using CRM tools; track progress toward monthly and quarterly targets.
- Industry Engagement – Represent Gardner at trade shows, conferences, and networking events; stay informed on industry trends.
- Collaboration – Partner with sales leadership and marketing to develop campaigns and strategies that drive customer success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven success in B2B or B2C outside sales; experience in manufacturing, media, or technical markets strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with ability to engage senior-level decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and able to manage a multi-state territory with significant travel.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Goal-oriented, competitive, and eager to exceed targets.
