Vehicle interiors technology specialist Faurecia is developing systems that use cameras and passive sensors to monitor the wellbeing of a vehicle’s occupants and automatically provide each passenger with a personalized comfort zone.
The goal, says Todd Fletemier, head of the company’s Midwest technology platform, is to leave occupants feeling better when they leave the vehicle than when they got in.
