Multiple car dealers in the U.S. say their YouTube accounts—used primarily to post informational and how-to videos for customers—have been abruptly canceled, Automotive News reports.

YouTube has restored multiple car dealer accounts after abruptly cancelling them late last week, Automotive News reports.

Dealers use YouTube to post hundreds of informational and how-to videos for customers. Last week affected retailers were locked out of their accounts and banned from opening new ones after YouTube claimed the content because of “multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy against spam, deceptive practices and misleading content or other Terms of Service violations.”

Dealers insisted there was nothing offensive or illegal in their videos, which cover everything from explanations about roadside assistance plans to tutorials about pairing Bluetooth-enabled phones with a vehicle’s entertainment system.
