Volkswagen Group has added 292,000 Audi and Porsche models to a previous recall to replace fuel pump flanges that could crack and cause a fire under the hood.
The new campaign applies to 240,500 of the group’s 2013-2017 model midsize Audi Q5 and large Q7 crossover vehicles and 51,500 of its 2015-2017 model Porsche Macan crossovers.
Last October VW launched a recall to fix the same problem in 143,200 vehicles. Audi and Porsche expect to begin the new round of recalls in July.
