Volvo Car Corp. has hired Robin Page, who has headed interior design at Bentley Motors Ltd. since 2001, as the Swedish brand's new design director for interiors.

Volvo Car Corp. has hired Robin Page, who has headed interior design at Bentley Motors Ltd. since 2001, as the Swedish brand's new design director for interiors.

At the British brand, Page was responsible for the plush interiors of such ultra-luxury models as the Mulsanne sedan and several variants of the Continental, as well as Queen Elizabeth II's state limousine.

Volvo owner Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. has said it wants to move the Swedish unit's vehicles upscale.
