Visteon Corp.'s sales in April-June totaled $1.8 billion compared with $1.6 billion a year earlier. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization climbed to a record $193 million.

But charges related to the sale of the majority of Visteon's auto interiors business swung the company to a net loss of $155 million from a $65 million profit in the same period last year.

Sales by Visteon's climate-control unit advanced 7% to $1.3 billion. Revenue from the electronics unit climbed 25% to $443 million.

Visteon, which acquired Johnson Controls Inc.'s automotive electronics business last month, raised its full-year guidance. The company now expects sales of $7.6 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $700 million-$730 million. It also estimates 2015 sales of $8.5 billion-$8.7 billion and adjusted EBITDA between $780 million and $820 million.
