Toyota Outsells GM in First Quarter
Toyota reports global sales of 2.58 million vehicles in January-March 2014, outpacing General Motors (2.42 million) and Volkswagen (2.40 million). Toyota and VW sales each grew 6% during the quarter.

Toyota and VW sales each grew 6% during the quarter. GM's volume rose 2%.
Last year Toyota, VW and GM reported sales of 9.98 million, 9.73 million and 9.71 million, respectively.
