Toyota Motor Corp. has received a $4 million tax break from the state of Michigan to help it relocate 250 purchasing employees to the state from its manufacturing headquarters in Kentucky.

Toyota Motor Corp. has received a $4 million tax break from the state of Michigan to help it relocate 250 purchasing employees to the state from its manufacturing headquarters in Kentucky.

Toyota is spending $33 million to expand its tech center near Ann Arbor, Mich., and consolidate about 1,100 technical staffers in the area. The additional 250 employees are not likely to move until 2016.
