Thai Auto Exports Drop to 2-Year Low

Thailand new-vehicle exports slumped 8% to 67,100 units in April, their smallest volume in two years, the Federation of Thai Industries says.

The slump affected all markets except Australia and the Middle East, according to the trade group.

FTI says domestic sales in Thailand climbed 9% to 86,100 vehicles last month. Vehicle production in the country jumped 12% to 150,200 units.
