Dan Kim, who had been Tesla Inc.’s senior director of global sales and marketing, has left the carmaker to become a director for home-sharing service Airbnb Inc.
Kim joined Tesla in January to help launch sales of the company’s Model 3 sedan. He previously was the chief marketing officer for software specialist Solera Inc.
Kim is the latest in a growing list of executives to leave Tesla this year. Others include former head of global sales John McNeill, who left the carmaker in February to join car-sharing giant Lyft Inc. McNeill was succeeded in April by Robin Ren, who had been vice president of Tesla’s Asia-Pacific operations.RELATED CONTENT
