The carmaker launched a faux leather seat option, which use synthetic materials, in late 2016. And CEO Elon Musk previously has said the new $35,000 Model 3 EV will have a “vegan” seat option.
The Model X and Model S have a standard leather steering wheel. But Tesla plans to offer a non-leather option steering wheels too.
Other changes to the Model S and Model X include LED lighting upgrades, a standard air suspension and a new premium upgrade package with satellite radio, “bio-weapon defense” mode and cold-weather features.
