Tata Technologies Opens U.S. Engineering Center

Singapore-based Tata Technologies Ltd. has opened its new North American Engineering and Innovation Center in Troy, Mich.

Tata Technologies, a provider of engineering services and product development, is a unit of India's Tata Group, which also owns carmaker Tata Motors Ltd.

Ken Fisher, president of the company's vehicle programs development unit, will head the new facility. The 10,000 sq. ft. center, which currently employs 60 engineers, is expect to boost its staff to 100 by year-end.
