Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. will present its all-new Subaru WRX sedan in U.S. trim at the upcoming Los Angeles auto show.
The all-wheel-drive car is expected to closely follow the styling of the WRX concept the automaker showed in New York last spring. The WRX is based on the Subaru Impreza sedan that was redone for the 2012 model year.
The concept is about 2 inches shorter, more than 5 inches wider and nearly 3 inches lower than the current model. Technical details aren't available, but the latest WRX is expected to continue to run a turbocharged flat-four engine producing about 265 hp.
The 2015 model, which will no longer carry the Impreza name, is due by mid 2014.
