To commemorate its 50th anniversary of operating in the U.S., Subaru Inc. will offer special-edition versions of all its vehicles next year.

In addition to their own badging, the 50th anniversary models are expected to get special colors and high-level trim packages. The carmaker will unveil the special-edition cars and trucks in February at the Chicago auto show.

Subaru's American unit was formed Feb. 15, 1968. The carmaker sold a record 615,000 vehicles last year in the U.S. and it is on pace to top that mark this year. Next week Subaru will unveil its first three-row crossover vehicle, the Ascent, at the Los Angeles auto show.
