Los Angeles-based Neuron Corp. took the wraps off its all-electric T-One prototype truck this week at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

Built on a modular “skateboard” chassis, the truck can be configured as a pickup, SUV or other body style.

In addition to pure EVs, the platform is expected to support hybrid-electric, fuel cell and other propulsion systems.

The interior can be reconfigured for different applications. The vehicle displayed in China features a single, center-positioned seat and two reclining captain chairs in the rear. In addition to a center touchscreen, there also are displays on both sides of the driver.

Neuron provided no technical specifications or say when it hoped to launch the vehicle. Founded in 2017, Neuron also is developing a range of commercial vehicles, including medium- and heavy-duty models.
