Spain’s Auto Output Climbs 9%

Spain made 2.16 million vehicles in 2013, up 9% from the previous year, trade group ANFAC reports. About 87% of the total was exported.

The group expects unspecified further expansion this year. Reuters notes that Spain's auto industry has benefitted from new labor laws, government-supported subsidies and expanding foreign demand for its vehicles.
