Roechling Opens Silicon Valley Office

Roechling Automotive AG has opened an office in San Jose, Calif., to support startup companies, new mobility technologies and traditional supplier and carmaker customers’ operations in California.

The office will be led by Jermel Jones, director of West Coast sales for Roechling Automotive North America. Staff will include technical, product and sales personnel.

Among the initial focuses will be on Roechling’s battery components and wireless charging systems for electric vehicles. The company notes that its Stratura Hybrid material for battery covers is 25% lighter than an aluminum cover.
